Your take on Fahrenheit 9/11 on DVD...buy it or not?
Personally, if I had anything to do with it, Michael Moore would be slowly dipped in hot acid on pay-per-view.
Needless to say, I won't buy the DVD.
Anyone else seen this rag or plan to buy the DVD?

I agree.
Moore says that he is creating art. He is not. He has created a political weapon only.
He released this at a time to try and change the outcome of the election. If it was art, he could have released it at Christmas time instead.
He should have never won the Oscar for BFC.

In answer to the original question, I won't buy it, but I would like to watch it.

That was a major edit, Dazed.
I won't beat you up about it, as that was not the purpose of my thread, but I'm really unsure how the systemmatic lies this baboon spins creates good entertainment, and why people would want to support this kind of crap with their hard earned dollar.
Every dollar is a vote for him to go make more crap.

Or, someone who is so afraid that others may actually like such a person that they feel a need to start a thread about the DVD release of a film that's not even in theatrical release yet just to make their self-serving point that they hate the filmmaker.
Yawn.

I'm eager to see this movie, and once I do, and if it is as good as Bowling for Columbine, then, yes, I will certainly purchase the DVD.
Moore's a great filmmaker, great political thinker and a great American.
You know, you don't have to agree with what the man says to support his right to say it.

This would actually first have to hit theaters to actually be able to dream of buying it. Was this thread just another method to bash Moore even more? I'm sure we have like 2 threads in movie talk and 1 in otter already about moore bashing.

Why is there a thread about this? The movie hasn't even come out. No DVD announced.
There are plenty of discussions in Movie and Other about this piece of shit,

Actually, I'm amused when people step up and support wacks like this guy. I love it when people around me admit their flawed thinking and poorly thought out support of people.
Comments like yours are very informative. I love fleshing out the opposition and being amazed at how ill-informed people are.
Also, if I just hated the guy and that was all I had to say, I'd do it. I wouldn't disguise it in a topic about his DVD. And admitting this isn't self-serving.
Anyway, your original assumption was correct...I'm about as far to the right as you can go.

There wasn't a DVD announced when I created a "10.5...would you buy it on DVD" thread, and that had tons of excited participation without one comment on why the thread was created.
Just one of the many arguments a liberal might make in order to suppress the topic.

Michael Moore learned of your thread, and is devastated to realize how much you disliked the movie. He can't imagine what your reaction would be if you actually saw the movie, but he'd hate to put that burden on you.

You're asking if people are going to buy a film that has yet to be released theatrically? Essentially this is a "Do you hate Michael Moore thread." This has nothing to do with the DVD -take it to the "other" forum.

The movie hasn't even made it to theaters, and we have a thread about who will buy the DVD. In truth, this thread was really just created to provide those who hate Michael Moore with another chance to bash him. (And to bash a movie that they haven't even seen.)
If you really feel the need to complain about Michael Moore, why not just go the Other forum in post in one of the weekly threads about how he is fat/crazy/slovenly/stupid/hypocritical?

I dislike Michael Moore intensely, but I would definitely check it out before passing intense judgment.
That being said, I never plan to actually pay money for anything that he does (i borrowed Bowling for Columbine from a friend).

"Love, friendship, respect, do not unite people as much as a common hatred for something. "

You people need to simmer down...you haven't even seen the film yet. I'm guessing a lot of you are the same people who demanded Mel Gibson's movie about Christ had a right to be seen.
