Scenes you can't believe someone actually thought would be good. (no spoiler tags)

I watched Torque this morning and I can't believe not only did someone think up the cycle/chick fight but they were able to convience other people it would be interesting enough to actually film it and put it in the final product Then again for most of the movie I guess I was trying to figure out how it got approved in the first place

Anyway I thought it might be fun to see what are some of the other "incredulous" scenes (in the sense you can't believe someone thought it up and it got filmed) that are out there? Not necessary like Torque where the whole film was maybe it would be more interesting to put it in the context of otherwise good/enjoyable movies that just have one scene that makes you go

Air Force One

The whole 'open door/plane in flight' fight sequence is utterly laughable, made only worse by the "Get off my plane" line uttered by President Harrison Ford

Loved the movie, but the bedroom romp near the end of Return of the King was poorly-conceived at best. Taking Ian McKellan out of the equation probably would have helped a little.

Really bad scenes in otherwise good movies:

The spitting scene in Titanic.

-or-

"You know what happens to a toad when it's struck by lightning?"

can an entire movie be considered one long scene and included in this discussion? How about an entire sect of movies? I nominate the Chick-Flick genre...and yes...it needs its own genre

"Some motherf***ers always trying to ice skate uphill. " from Blade

The scene from the Transporter where he beats up 50 guys in that warehouse... while rolling around in the oil.

I was so waiting for a really cool and catchy finish to that sentence when she said it and then she comes up with ...

"The same thing that happens to everything else."

I can't believe that some poster actually thought others would enjoy their posts without freakin' SPOILER tags!

I don't see where there's much in the way of spoilers but I guess it's fair to give a warning. I tried to add (no spoiler tags) to the thread title but I'm not a mod in this forum and the edit of the first post didn't effect the main title. Hopefully one of the mods will take care of it.

I used the tags for my Dawn of the Dead post because the movie is still kind of new but I honestly think tags should be used for every movie where you give something away - even if you hate the movie it's still a decent thing to do for others who haven't seen it but want to.

Die Another Day

Spoiler:
The second surfing scene. I tried to disperse this awful scene from memory but I believe Bond was surfing on a sheet of ice! Not to mention this along with a scene in the Mummy Returns being the two worst CGI scenes I have ever seen.

*dramatic pause* It CROAKS.

Still cheesy but better than the original!

I remember waiting for my friend in front of the movie theatre and I was overhearing 3 guys in their mid-twenties talking about "Freddy vs Jason". They were talking about that movie like it was the best movie EVER! They were saying things like " You know, when you thought Freddy was dead and them BAM! he comes back!? That was sooo coool!"

I hope that they were kidding...
