Backdraft
I know this was mentioned earlier, but will Backdraft be re-released as a SE, i can't find it anywhere and according to a local video store it is oop, or am i just looking in the wrong places????

Interesting. Amazon and DVD Planet didn't have it. I'm hoping a better version will be coming out since the original release wasn't anamorphic.

It's long been rumored that there will be an SE of this movie as listed on sites like Davisdvd and digitalbits.com

And there were deleted scenes re-inserted for the TV version. Hoping those are included as well as the great theatrical trailer with the music from Glory!

It IS OOP. I expect Universal to announce a re-release soon, as well as Apollo 13 and some others. Let's just hope it's soon!

I'm holding off for a better release as well. But these days, double/triple dipping is common. Hope they do it right this time.

I'd love a SE of this. Buy it in a heartbeat. If done right, too, this DVD could have some amazing sound.
