Collateral

Well, who knows, maybe Michael Mann can actually make Tommy and Jamie look cool.

When does this movie open??

I love Michael Mann

I still can't get over the shootout in HEAT

beautifully paced, shot and edited (visually and sound)

I heard most (or all) of this film was shot digitally? I haven't seen any of the previews in theatres, but for anyone who has - how does it look?

Looks like an off-kilter, dark movie with style. Should be good.

Looks good. But I hope that digital never becomes the normal thing.

I dont know if it's just me....but Cruise reminds me a lot of Deniro's character in Heat, lookswise, haircut...plus the suit

I like Michael Mann a lot, so i'll be there opening night.

You guys are right about the similarities between Deniro's character and Cruise, i also noticed it when i saw the commerical(even though he's named Vincent, which was Pacino's name). Besides the hairstyle i also saw the way Cruise was running which reminded me of the last few scenes from HEAT. Can't wait to see the film, also from i've heard Cruise is scheduled to appear in the next Mann's film , a WWII drama, it looks like Cruise has finally found someone just as professional as he is.

Can't wait for this. Reminiscent of both Heat and Robbery Homicide Division.

Yeah the movie looks really good IMO, but when I saw the trailer in theaters, it did look like it was shot digitally.
