Ok, so this afternoon i'm funally breaking down and trying to activate the code that came with my copy of RS3 and another code for XIII. I've never used a trial before but for some reason it keeps saying that the codes are invalid. Granted the card says the codes are good from october to march so they might be expired, but it seems odd since RS3 isn't that old of a game.

Any ideas on how they might be useable or someone have a code i could snag that is from an unexpired card?

Those cards that came with the "Try Live Free For 1 Month" games indeed expired in March. So it looks like MS was not as lenient as they were with some of the XBOX starter kit codes that did not expire when they said they would.

They are bound to have another promo soon, but if you can't wait Live is still worth the money that you'll pay.
