New HT Receiver Question

Ok, just want to know if anyone has had any experiences with the Yamaha 5760 or 5750. They are what I am looking to upgrade to from my old 890 Yamaha, since I figure time to move to 6.1/7.1 sound. The prices online and in the B&M stores are not too bad. I have heard both, with crappy store setups, and don't want to be the type that returns stuff (I used to work in retail).

Any help would be great.

I do not have any personal experience with the models you mentioned.

The 890 is a great unit. The HTR series were introduced for mass merchant sales., ie Best Buy.

I suggest you compare the HTR series with the RX series before you make up your mind.
