Hopefully someone mirrors it. I didn't get a chance to get a ticket for the square showing, and waiting in line is for sucka's!

for the mean time here are some very nice pictures of the AC toys

Yes, please, someone mirror it. The streaming version is incredibly crappy.

I wasn't able to get tickets but I got in the show while standing in line. Also, if I remembered correctly, you weren't supposed to take pictures of those figures.

The official site now has it. It's "Trailer 002." The broadband option is not as high res as the original link but much much better than the gamespot stream

http://www.square-enix.co.jp/dvd/ff7ac/

And here's a translation of the promotional poster from awhile back (from adventchildren.net) :

Final Fantasy VII sold millions of units worldwide. Why would Square-Enix pass up the opportunity to make more money in a larger market?

Anyone got a link to the hi res trailer?

Thanks for the link.

I'm really loving the look of this movie. The scene with Vincent at the City of the Ancients looks fantastic.

Holy Crap! I had no idea this was coming out! I'm in shock... FF: VII is the only FF game I ever played but I loved it.

I was a little jealous of Gamecube owners, with Zelda being (IMHO) the talk of E3 so far, this totally makes up for it. When they show the big ass sword with the homage to Final Fantasy VII, followed by the Seperoth orchestra, the hair on the back of my neck stood up.

Is this a movie or a game, because the link has dvd in it. And this PS2?

Damn, it's just another crappy Final Fantasy movie

So this is no longer a 50 minute feature like the producer had claimed when the first trailer was released, right? Because they hint at a lot in this new trailer that would make such a feature really cramped.

Also, anyone find it interesting that in this trailer we get more footage of a particular swordfight between Yazoo and Cloud when the producer of this feature claimed that such footage was only for promotional reasons and that not a single frame of it was in the film itself?

I loved seeing this in the square presentation. The tifa images alone made it worth wild. Seeing Vincent in full motion video was great considering the little amount he got in the actual game because he was after all that "secret character".

Well don't ask me... that's just what i was hearing when the information of it first surfaced
If that was true you could bet a million bucks safely that it would be fan subbed by every group out there. It's still going to be a movie. Time frame? Who knows. Perhaps I should check the press kit for more info.

Thanks. That does seem more reasonable. But, looking at the "about" link, there will apparently be 20 characters. I hope the vast majority of those are merely "caricatures" and no attempt is made to fully develop all 20 because with only 70-80 minutes to work with it'll end up being nothing more than an incoherent mess. That said, I'm still looking foward to it.

can you honestly say that? The other film failed simply because it lacked all things relating to final fantasy. this one atleast has the characters from a game that pretty much introduced final fantasy to many gamers.
