Hi,

Saw this movie, really enjoyed it. However, can someone explain the ending? I was a bit confused...it appears the main guy destroys the device meaning he should die, but then the last image of the movie shows him lying in bed with smoother yet really weird looking skin alongside his wife and the granddaughter.

Is he still a vampire?

Without the device, won't he die? I guess unless he gets human blood from another source? Then what's the point of the machine?
