Review wanted: The Indian Runner

Can anyone offer a review for "The Indian Runner"? I'm a big Bruce Springsteen fan and I really like the song Sean Penn based this movie on. I was just wondering what you guys' thought of the movie. I haven't been able to find the DVD at BestBuy, I guess I'll give eBay a shot if you guys reccomend it. Thanks.

I don't think it was ever released. It was announced a few months ago & then cancelled shortly after, if I'm remembering correctly.

A price search shows a few listings so it appears to be available.

It's been 10+ years since I've seen it, and never the dvd, so I wouldn't have anything worthwhile to add over movie reviews you probably have read already.

I've seen them listed on eBay, matter of fact, there is one listed right now on DVD. It says it is Region 1, which is my region. Maybe I'll find it somewhere to give it a try.

You can save a couple of bucks if you are going to buy it from some of the retailers listed on dvd price search.

I have the DVD from a couple of years ago, although I don't know if it's still in print. I haven't watched it yet as I watched a video rental originally.

I'm a huge fan of Sean Penn both as an actor and a director, and I would highly recommend this movie. It's one of those where the end totally redefines what happened (not in a Shyamalan trick ending way but in a way that explains why what happened happened).
