So I was playing Final Fantasy VII, and wanted to mess around with one of the forementioned cheat devices.

Problem is, I only have a PS2.

Can you use a PS1 cheat device on a PS2? Or do the PS2 cheat devices allow you to cheat at PS1 games?

I believe the Gameshark for PS2 comes with a PS1 code disc.

I didn't see a PS1 disc included in the PS2 box when I looked earlier.

I believe the PS1 disc came with Gameshark version 1.0. Now they are on version 2 or whatever. Check ebay, a version 1 might pop up.
