About a month and a half ago there was a review link on DVDTalk for a movie coming out on DVD about con artists and poker. It had a decent cast, many of whom were featured on the cover art. I don't ever remember it being in theaters, even limited release. I think it had a pretty good rating by the reviewer. I can't remember anything else about it and I can't find the review. Can anyone help?

No, its none of those. Its a lot more recent that Rounders and Lock Stock, and more unknown than the Cooler.

Not really about con-artists, but a poker game played a big part of The Last Hand:

This would be my guess also. It stars Thandie Newton, Gabriel Byrne, Stuart Townsend, Jamie Foxx, Melanie Griffith, and Sylvester Stallone. All of those are pictured on the poster I saw. I think it's going straight to video now. I was on Amazon canada last night and it's got this being released on dvd on May 25th.

Don't waste your time with that crap and just see House of Games.

it's probably "Confidence", but didn't have to do with poker. or could be "Poolhall Junkies", again not poker.
