What do you like more season primieres or finales?
What do you like to see more the season primiere of a show or the season finale of a show. I think I choose season finale because, to me, it puts the season to a close, I'll know what the season looks like and it leaves me with a cliffhanger that will make me want to come back to see what happens. What is your favorite one? Primieres or Finale's?

Premieres, being sep for a few shows like last seasons Alias or say when Melrose Place blew up (well sort of, they pushed that one back) the bulk of season finales don't really cliff hang as much as they are simple "will they get on the plane?!?" or "will they really break up?!?".. yawn...
After all, we all sort of know if the main star has just been throw off a cliff or oh I don't know, locked in a coffin and sunk to the bottom of the sea, that some how, some way they will be fine..
Also there is the issue of a show not getting picked up for next season, so you get a great cliff hanger and then nothing.. arrrrrrrgg!! I mean Jim Profit goes back and sleeps in that box and then we never find out what happened?!! Being the show "Profit" from 1996 got canned after one season.. awwww!!!
That right there is enough to rank premieres higher being at least every show has one..

Err, unless I missed a deeper meaning to the question, I can't imagine anyone choosing finales. Which do I prefer, seeing the end of a season and looking forward to 4 months of repeats or looking forward to 22 new episodes over the course of a few months? For that reason alone I utterly loathe this time of year, because all there is to look forward to is 4 months of reality crap and failed shows that weren't good enough to last during the regular season.
And as DeadLamb said, you also have cliffhangers that will forever be left hanging and the end of classic shows. I'm going to be regretting watching the John Doe season/series finale for the rest of my life given we'll never know what happened next. There are basically no positive aspects about season finales during this time of the year, period.

I like to see season premiere more so I can know in general what the season's direction will be like. I like to see SERIES finale so I know how the story ends.

I prefer season finales if they are cliffhangers. I do not however like a cliffhanger, then they decide not to bring the show back, and then you never know what happened (ie Caroline in the City)
