Lady Snowblood....good blind buy?

I watch the Making of Kill Bill Vol.1 feature and one of the film they show was Lady Snowblood (1973) and was suppose to inspire Tarantino in making the character O-Ren Ishii. I check out on Amazon and it show that it coming out on Region 1 next Tuesday. Since I loved Kill Bill , I was wondering if this a good blind or not? Any review would be appreciated.

If you loved Kill Bill enough where you would at least have an appreciate for the films that inspired it then yes, it's a perfect blind buy. I loved Snowblood when I first saw it as a kid, & only had a crappy VHS to watch it on over the years, I got the two new DVDs last week & was amazed at how good the picture looked.

I'm really tempted to buy both of the Lady Snowblood movies however I'm running low on cash this month with all of the great releases coming out.

Maybe I'll wait until next month...
