Using Computer Speakers w/ DVD Player?
Hi,
I was previously using some Altec Lansing 5.1 surround sound speakers on one of my computers, but now I no longer use that system. I really feel like I'm wasting these speakers, and I'd love to hook them up to my DVD Player, however I'm not entirely sure it's possible...
Is there any way to do this without buying an amp or a receiver? I don't mind spending a bit of money to hook these up, but I'd rather not invest too much in a case like this.
Thanks a lot for the help!

Do they have a power adaptor connected to them (self-powered, as Brian asked)? If so, all you need is a simple female stereo mini-headphone jack to dual male stereo RCA adaptor, which you can get at Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc. for about $3-$4.
