Why did DVD Savant review the new "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" set?
As much as I enjoy his work and respect his knowledge, why did DVD Savant review the new "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" set? Would it not seem improper to have someone who admits that they worked on the DVD release (even if it is only the features disc), review said DVD?
This is not a jab against DVD Savant - he's quite possibly my favourite critic - but the fact that he gets to review his own handiwork doesn't sit right with me.

Who better to cover the restoration of the film that the person who helped make it happen.
Savant has insights into the project no one else has, and his review not only talks about his involvement on the disc but is as even handed a review as any title he's covered.
