Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the Terminator Ultimate Edition from Japan? It seems to be (out of print) and sold out everywhere.
Anyone interested in selling or trading there copy to me? I need this DVD.
Thanks

Hopefully this new edition will have the original mono track and the original burned in text and not the player generated kind.
We will see.
Here is cover and specs:
MGM Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of The Terminator (Ultimate Edition) for 26th September 2005 priced at £19.99. Directed by the previously unknown James Cameron (Titanic, Aliens) and starring an Austrian body-builder Arnold Schwarzenegger, this ground-breaking movie blew critics and audiences away with its post-apocalyptic vision of a futuristic battle brought back to modern day LA.
Digitally Remastered with a new transfer and Dolby 5.1 and DTS sound mean that this DVD delivers the ultimate in sound and vision. Plus a host of eagerly awaited extra features on a bonus disc and smart collectable new packaging make this a must-have purchase for any film fan.
Features include:
Collectable Packaging
New Digital Transfer and Dolby 5.1 / DTS sound
Documentary: Closer To The Real Thing – interview with James Cameron and modern day inventors and cyborg experts
Documentary: Unstoppable Force, The Legacy of The Terminator – how today’s film makers were influenced

The only players which will actually generate subs from a text file during playback are those players which will play avi files in conjunction with plaintext subtitles.

MGM Home Entertainment restored the original opening paragraphs to the recent pressings of the special edition.
This new edition will also restore the original opening but does not have the original mono track. Most folks in the UK prefer the new surround mixes over the original tracks.
