The OC 04/28/04
Just got around to watching last night's OC (tomorrow night in the US) and I have to say this was a fantastic episode. This episode contained everything that makes The OC great. Don't read if you don't want to know what happens, but here are my thoughts:
Other comments? Some of you Canucks must have seen it by now.

Much better episode than last week's. About the only complaint I have is how are they gonna wrap up everything with a single episode left in the season? Or are we heading toward the dreaded cliffhanger ending?

Not over yet, and I'm proclaiming this as my favorite episode.
So many great lines, hot chicks, a cat fight, and more. They should visit The Vegas more often.

Great episode.
The catfight and Jennifer
Seth had some great lines tonight and I'm glad him and Summer are still together.
Summer's lines to Jen when she found her and Seth were great

Sandy calling Caleb "Cay-Cay".
Not a fan of the Theresa and the pregnancy.
Seth and Summer's reunion was great. What she said to Jen after she got to Vegas was pretty damn funny. And I would have never paid for the hookers - it's the principle of the whole thing. They are in the penthouse - have security toss the ****ers out.
And good for Jimmy. And Hayley.
Julie looked like some crap that came out of the '80s tonight.

Also, the new Beastie Boys single "Ch-Check It Out" is played during the end of the episode.

Not only did Sandy use "Cay-Cay" when he thought he was on good terms with Caleb, but he continued to use it when he was sabotaging Caleb's deal with Campbell at the dinner that Sandy interrupted.
Overall, fun episode, with plenty for everyone.
Seth's line about "Texas Holdem" not being what it sounded like when prostitutes were involved was funny.
I thought most ho's don't kiss (too intimate).

Over the last few episodes, I've really thought about how PERFECTLY this show was cast. Every character is exactly how you'd picture them.
The coup was casting Peter Gallagher as Sandy Cohen. Brillant.

I love the OC in the Vegas.
It was weird how Jen, the first prostitute, was pretty hot but the rest seemed pretty ugly.
Great episode but my only gripe was that they didn't show who won the catfight.

Where have we seen the actress who played Jen, the hooker/whore/skank/UNLV student, before? She looked familiar. Not the hottest girl to ever appear on the show, imo, but she was quite sexy. The more gratuituous bikini shots the better.

Very fun episode. This could have easily been the season finale so I'm eager to see if they top the fun of this episode next week.

Mischa Barton is like the Sunday Night Football crew. The ratings are too high to justify kicking her off, so I think we're stuck with her for quite a while.
Not only is she a horrible actress, she's ugly too. For god sake, eat a pizza.

According to epguides.com, Jen was played by Kristen Renton. I can't really confirm it since imdb doesn't list The O.C. under Guest Appearances, and there is no picture of her to boot.
I reserved a lot of comment on this show until it actually aired in America, but I agree with spainlinx0. This episode could have easily been the season finale, it was just that entertaining! I honestly don't understand why Ryan and Seth would pay off the pimps. The could have easily called security or the police. Neither the pimps nor the prostitutes knew where they were from, so it could have been legit. I can't wait for next week.
