Watch Out!! New Fear Factory CD comes with 1 of 2 different DVDs!

I didn't even notice this until AFTER I bought it. It comes with either an Australian Tour 2004 DVD, or a Making of Archetype DVD.

It tells you on the security label across the top which one is inside. I haven't opened it yet, but I'm wondering which would be better. I can't imagine this being a full concert DVD.

Anyone know?

I picked up this CD (with bonus DVD) at the local Best Buy. They only offered the Australian Tour 2004 DVD, so that's the one I was stuck with. No, it's not a full concert. It has footage of them in the studio, at the airport, etc. However, it does have one full song (I think it's a full song) from a show in Seoul, South Korea. As a bonus, the DVD also has the video for Cyberwaste, which was a cool bonus. Oh yeah...and the whole thing is shot in widescreen (although I seriously doubt it's anamorphically enhanced...ha ha!) Hope this answered some questions...

P.S. I love the new CD! I think it's their best since Obsolete. Thoughts??

I got mine at Circuit City. Some had orange security labels, some had white ones. Mine with the Australian Tour 2004 DVD has an orange one, so I'm guessing that might be how else to tell them apart?

I just got the CD today at best buy ($7.99!). AWESOME CD so far. Demanufacture has always been my favorite but I'm not sure yet if this one tops it or not, it'll at least be a close second Anyhow, I got the making of documentary DVD with mine. I didn't realize there were 2. The Doc is kinda cool, it's just interviews with the band really with them sitting around talking about stuff, and it has the video for Cyberwaste.

I got the making of the album version. Suprisingly decent for a bonus disc. As for the album, it kicks some serious ass. I think its actually better than Obsolete and even rivals Demanufacture. In the documentary they say that they are working on a remix album similar to Remanufactured and possibly a cover album.

I have been listening to the new CD all day, and I completely agree with you.

Is anyone having trouble with the "Australian Tour 2004" DVD? I forgot to mention in my first post above that my DVD goes back to the main menu right when the band is heading to Perth (and right when that title pops up on the screen). My only solution is to hit play again and then chapter skip up to the point where I got booted back to the menu. Anyone having similar problems? Other than that, I'm certainly happy to get a free one-hour DVD!

My doc dvd was a little buggy. The sound was skipping in a lot of parts and I got a few spots where the screen froze and turned all pixely, but it would fix itself right after.

Damn! The new FF cd was sold out at both my local Best Buy and Circuit City today. I had to go to out of my way to another Best Buy and I picked up the last copy there. Since when did FF become so popular?

And the new cd kicks ass! I got the making of Archetype DVD. I might have to double dip to get the Australian tour DVD. Damn marketing ploy...argh...

Very good disc. I'm digging it alot. Anyone know that the last song on the disc is a Nirvana cover from the Bleach cd? It's freaking great!

I had to pick up both versions. What can I say, I'm a sucker for these marketing ploys.

At $7.99 a pop, I can't complain too much. Great album.

I remember being pleasantly surprised when I first heard it. I looked at the tracklisting on the back of the CD before I listened to it all the way through the first time, but when I saw "School" on there, I couldn't even imagine they would cover a Nirvana song. I love it!
