Any HELIX fans out there?

Any fans of this great Canadian band on the forum? They just finished their new album and it's available for pre-order on their site www.planethelix.com
I know I can't wait for my copy to arrive. I have been a fan for years.

I loved ROCK YOU in my youth. Also, they do a good version of Make Me Do Anything You Want.

IIRC, their guitarist died (I can't remember where, but I want to say Japan) due to a peanut allergy after buying some sidewalk food that contained trace amounts of peanuts, while he had left his medication back at the hotel. I will try to find the article about it.

Their guitarist Paul Hackman died in a car crash in British Columbia in 1992.

Helix Coney Hatch!!!

Holy cow!! I've always liked Helix, heck I wore out the tape that had Deep Cuts the Knife when I was but a young lad.

I even saw Coney hatch live at with Accept and Krokus.

Well, that's all I've got to say about that.

I am from just outside of St. John's. Nice to see a fellow NLer post here. Not many of us here at all!!

Maybe it is a different band that I am thinking about, but I could have sworn it was Helix. Anyway, whoever it was, it was a Canadian rock band whose member died of a peanut allergic reaction from eating something from a sidewalk vendor.

Does anyone remember this?
