Just saw this as a sneek preview tonight. I thought it was real good. Jennifer Garner did a great job as a comedic actress. Its a nice addition to the age-swap genre. I think that films that just deal with one character with the age-swap, ala "Big", tend to be a better flick. I did recognize a standard "Sydney Bristow" crying sceen, but I really enjoyed this flick. It was also good to see all of the 80's nostalgia used. This is a great date flick as I was brought by my wife.

Date flick when you brought your wife? Your married, your dating life is dead my friend. ;)

Saying that supmallet brought up a good point.. Alias fans will only watch this for eye candy and really.. it's not there cup of tea to begin with and the young girl audiance isn't all that powerful. (see elle enchanted). So will this make big bucks? that's the question..

I've seen the trailer and it does look like a female BIG. But the fact that it seems that she did live all those years seems weird. Does she somehow loose all memories between 13 and 30?

Hey...you stole my line! :p

But, yes, that's my prediction. Alias fans won't see this because it's the complete opposite of what they like about Alias, and the trailer looked so lame that most other people aren't going to see it, either.

I'm an Alias fan and I plan ot go see it mostly because I thought the trailer looked kinda cute. It's a female Big and I liked Big so why not.

I tend to prefer the "people wake up in their younger selves" genre more than the "people wake up in their older selves" one.

It's Jennifer Garner being cute. I'm there.

Anyone remember an 80s Disney Movie of the Week called 14 Going on 30 with basically the same plot (but with teenage boys instead of Garner)?

Alan Thicke and Dick Van Patten were in it, and a cast of teenagers. I was a little surprised when I heard of this coming back again, but should be great for the younger set.

I would be pretty pissed off if I lost 17 years out of my life! Especially missing out entirely on your 20s.

This actually looks like it may be good. Not original, but it could have some moments.

Could be okay, probably will wait for DVD. I wonder how good Garner is in it? Hanks got an Oscar nomination for playing a boy trapped in a man's body, do think she'll be able to?

It looks kind of cute, but the scene in the trailer when they're doing the Thriller video.....that is just painful to watch.

From the trailer, this movie looks funny and great. Will probably watch the movie next weekend when it comes out.

Actually the Triller scene was rather funny. It was painful to watch because I remember myself glued to the tv everytime that this came on. Jennifer really does a good job at comedy. Is it predictable, of course, but it is fun getting there. She does look hot in this movie. Eye candy? You get and I'll buy up the candy store for that!
