Miss AZ was my fav Cardinals Cheerleader, and Texas was hot, but when they both went out, I bailed. Funny...my klids thought it was a new reality show.

"How long is this show daddy?"
"Two Hours."
"They're gonna vote off 50 girls in one night?!"

I thought the runner-up, Miss South Carolina was the best - simply gorgeous. I would have really liked to see her with her hair down though.

Remember the good ol' days when Miss USA had to be drop-dead gorgeous? I guess it's too PC to pick the hottest looking girl now. As for the winner, I see better looking girls at the mall on the weekends.

Was Oklahoma the only one with short hair? I thought she was stunning, and then she opened her mouth, and I thought, "Oh my goodness, she's an idiot!" Glad she didn't win.

Miss OK was my fave too until she opened her mouth. Dumb as a box of hammers. But to be fair I guess hse is just a kid. At the beginning she indicated she was 19, so it's sort of like having a goofy high school kid up on stage with all that going on and expecting her to come off as intelligent.

"Justin Timberlake" What a nitwit.

Having lived in OK, I was embarrassed by the Oklahoma girl. Wow, what a moron.

Here's how her Q&A went:

Question: What is your favorite music?
Answer: Wow, of all the questions you could have asked, that has to be the most difficult one. [umm, seems like ANY other question would be more difficult] Well, I don't like country. I've never been a fan a rap, I don't necessarily have a favorite band....[never answers the question]

Question: If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be and what question would you ask them?
Answer: Justin Timberlake. He's so cute and talented. Maybe he could teach me some dance moves. [never answers the question about what question she would ask]

That is funny... paraphrased:

Justin Timberlake. [/B]
WTF??? Okay, he's technically not a band, but I doubt she's smart enough to have answered based on that distinction. So she doesn't have a favorite musical performer, but if she could meet anyone on the planet it would be... a specific musical performer??? He's not your favorite musician, but he's your favorite famous person on the planet (more or less) and he happens to be a musician. The logic here is bizarre.

Exactly. This girl has rocks for brains...and they're stupid rocks.

Why did she get this far? Well, she is a hottie:

Completely agree. My mom had guessed Missouri and South Carolina as the top 2, but we were both rooting for South Carolina.

I liked New Hampshire, saw her on fear factor earlier and she was lovely - but my runners up were Missouri and S.C.
S.C. kind of flubbed on the question, "Should celebrities express their opinions?"

She answered with something like "Absolutely not" but then followed it with what sounded like an affirmative. I think she heard it like, "Should celebrities be blasted for expressing their opinions?"

Same reaction as everyone else. OK looked good until she started talking. However, I was hooked on SC from the moment she showed up. Good representation from the South in the final rounds.

Yeah that hair had to go. Spoiled the whole effect I thought.

I noticed the same thing too. Certainly didn't change my opinion that she was the best. Not to mention that I'll be deep in the cold cold ground before I recognize Missourah.

Agree on the South representing. I imagine if there is one thing the South knows - its beauty pagents. Miss Texas was quite the looker as well.

I think any of the 5 finalists are hot enough to be Miss USA. The judges couldn't make a bad decision if they tried.
