Arrested Development - 4\11
Pretty good episode... A little too sweet and mushy for me... I know it has been discussed before but is there some contract issue that says Buster and Tobias can't be in the same episode

Maybe Tobias and Buster are being played by the same actor?
I know I shouldn't watch this show when I'm tired (via time-shifting), but I thought it was merely average, with a few chuckles here and there.

I was scared for a second that they were going to soften up the Mom way too much. They started to show her as a Mom who did whatever it takes to help her kids. But by the end of the show, she showed her true colors...excellent.
Portia DeRossi is hot. And dancing in a cage while being sprayed with a hose to the song 'Bad Girls' doesn't hurt one bit.
All of the great guests they have only stay for 2-3 shows and then they get written out. Maria 1 and 2...gone. Gob's wife...gone. Lucille2...gone. Carl Weathers...gone(and you will be missed. I shed a tear every time I get my 'stew on'.)

Didn't George Michael seem to think that the secret about hair being somewhere where it's not supposed to be was not about Pop-pop? I thought that was funny.

what was the second message that appeared on the cell phone? the first involved the "land/l and d" mesage, but what was the second message that appeared a few minutes later?

It was the exact same message, only this time it was actually a "Matter of Land."
I'm surprised this episode wasn't better liked. There was a lot of great stuff:
Lyndsey's confusion over "The War"
Gobias Industries
The whole "Brother-in-Law" discussion
The whistles
Oscar
The "Free Speech Zone"
"Getting back to your roots"
Etc.

I also was shocked at the lack of love for this episode. I laughed at all the parts that Groucho mentioned. I can see this being the type of show for me that even if the jokes fall flat, I would still watch because I enjoy seeing the characters on screen.
And how can you not laugh at Lindsey's response to Tobias' "I'm trying to grow here" line. "Well I see that isn't happening anytime soon."

The Brother-in-Law bit was one of my favorite AD moments of the whole season.
And I want Gobias Industries to stick around.

I thought this was a pretty fun episode. I loved when Tobias and Gob were slowly walking out of the restaurant after Michael came in. Plus, on the scenes from the next Arrested Devlopment bit, were great. The Say Anything bit I found especially enjoyable

I don't care about 24 being shuffled so much as I care about AD getting the shaft because of it.... *sigh*
