One of the previews showed that
Spoiler:
two people get immunity
, so I'm guessing that the twist is that
Spoiler:
two people get voted off
since
Spoiler:
seventeen people have to be eliminated in the same number of days that 15 got eliminated in previous seasons.

I saw the ads for the show today so my theory of holding off on a merge was wrong! Looks like a good episode this week and Rob ought to be happy seeing his Amber again.

A promo during a basketball game said there was only one immunity necklace to be given.

Was that erroneous?

Man, I couldn't help myself and read your spoiler. It would be a cool twist if they did what you said. I was wondering how they are going to fit 18 people into same 39 days with 1 elimination every 3 days.

It isn't a spoiler; it is just my theory. I could be way off.

There won't be a double elimination episode during Survivor: All-Stars. I'm pretty sure that at some point during the game, they switched to Tribal Councils every two days to fit 16 boots into 39 days. If you check the CBS website, you'll see that there are two extra episodes this season.

Where do you see that there are two extra episodes?

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivo.../s8story.shtml only has room for 13 episodes, just like normal (except for Pearl Islands I, which had 14).

Sorry, I just assumed the website would be up to date. There are episodes of Survivor: All Stars airing April 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th and May 6th and 9th.

Save Season 1, there have always been 14 episodes of Survivor. Seasons 2-6 had a recap episode with new footage. Pearl Islands didn't have a recap but had the extra Outcast episode. All-Stars will have had 16 episodes including the recap.

Amber and Kathy battled for the women's individual immunity and Amber pretty much quit towards the middle of the challenge, and Kathy made a tremendous comeback.

Rob and Lex battled for the men's individual immunity and Rob was looking winded and Lex was powering through the challenge, but Lex had problems with his final balloon to be released from the water and Rob snuck into the victory circle with Kathy.

Now Rob is going to have to figure out a way to keep Amber from getting the boot...

Kathy - "I could go and make a million dollars somewhere." Haha, I liked that, honesty.

And Lex is gone! And all he gets for his troubles is a seat on the jury.

Rob says "I hope we can get past this" as he pushes a knife in his target. I guess stupidity is painful afterall as someone regrets a past choice.

Well, hopefully Kathy can talk Rubert or somebody into voting off Amber or Rob. Doesn't that alliance see that Amber and Rob are going to kick anybody off at the drop of a hat, including them?

I've gotta say this though - Lex could have easily saved his ass by winning immunity, he SHOULD have one it, he choked there.

Well, Lex did screw over Ethan to further himself in the game, so turnabout is fairplay.

Right on. Though I would rather see Rob off than anyone, except maybe Amber.

I doesn't really matter they would have been F'ed keeping Jerri. I just don't understand why Rob couldn't just vote off Shii Ann instead of Lex and consider that his favor. I did enjoy Lex's face when Kathy said she was keeping it.

Damn, that Amber cleans up well.

Anyone else think Jenna looks like a younger Frances McDormand?

Last week I couldn't believe they kept Amber, but I figured maybe Lex knew what he was doing. Now I know he was a complete idiot. Never make a deal with the enemy!
