It was in Parade magazine last week, but I can't remember the exact figure. I want to say its about half a million appearance fee per episode...and he's also listed a producer, so he probably draws some extra money from that credit.

$500k seems really low, considering its ratings beats friends and er. and in friends they pay out $6million for cast for 30 minute show. (although teen/young adult audience of friends is probably more valuable).

No way for NBC to tell how well the show would've performed before it evened aired.
