re:

The Shawn Michaels DVD is worth getting. If you're a huge wrestling fan, you should already have it. lol

The matches are:

1) The Midnight Rockers vs. Buddy Rose & Doug Summers. Meh, this isn't that great. I wish they'd put a Rockers match from the WWF instead.

2) The Ladder Match with Razor Ramon from Wrestlemania 10. *****
This was the defining moment in Shawn's career, and it's a 5 star match. This match has many infamous spots, and what most ladder matches lacked... great pacing and psychology.

3) The Ironman Match with Bret Hart from Wrestlemania 12. ***
This match is an hour long and takes up the bulk of the DVD set. Shawn shows he can be a great technical wrestler as well, and that he can main event. This match goes pretty slow for the most part, and is more about technical wrestling. In that sense, it's a great match, if you love hardcore bumps, spots, and fast-paced action, you will be bored. It picks up the pace at the end.

4) The No Holds Barred Match with Diesel from In Your House. ***
They put on a better match than here than at Wrestlemania 11. This is in essence one of the first Hardcore matches in the WWF. And Diesel powerbombs Michaels through the announce table! (which at the time, didn't just collapse, or had removable monitors)

5) vs. Mankind ***
Another pretty brutal match. Shawn shows a meaner side.

6) Hell in A Cell Match vs. Undertaker. *****
The infamous first HIAC match. The WWF reached a new level of brutality with this. Kane debuts at the end.

7) Non-sanctioned match vs HHH. ****
Shawn makes an inring comeback and proves he can still steal the show. Lots of bumps and spots in this one as well.

The extras include the buildup promos for each match, interviews with HBK for each match, and TV spots.

All in all, this DVD is well worth getting. The Ladder match, the Ironman match, the Hell in a Cell, and the match with HHH make the DVD.

re:

The 2003 is one of the better Royal Rumbles IMO. The undercard is not that great, but not many Royal Rumbles ever had an undercard to write home about.

1) Brock Lesnar vs The Big Show. ***
The winner gets to be #30 at the Rumble. This is an alright match, considering The Big Slow is in it. Brock Lesnar got a decent match out fo him.

2) The Dudley Boyz vs William Regal and Lance Storm. *
**snore**

3) Torrie Wilson vs Dawn Marie. *
Oh god, why do matches between non-wrestler women take place? This whole thing was about Dawn Marie marrying Torrie's dad, and screwing him to death. Yes, to death.

4) Scott Steiner vs Triple H. (minus stars)
This was the worst professional wrestling match of the new millenium. It's is so bad that it's worth watching for that reason. Steiner gets so winded, that he spends a lot of time gasping for air. He does a million of the only move he can still do... belly-to-belly suplexes. The fans begin to boo this travesty of a match. Steiner tries to perform a powerbomb, but is so tired that he falls backwards and damn near drops HHH square on his head. Steiner grabs the championship belt and goes to hit HHH in the face with it, but visibly misses by a fair distance. And when HHH gets up, he's busted open. Christ. By the end that fans were booing Steiner out of the building, even though they cheered him when he made his entrance.

5) Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit. ****
Another excellent match by these two great athletes. Picks up the show again after the horrendous prior match.

6) The 2003 Royal Rumble.
Starts off with the beautiful screwing over of HBK by Jericho and Christian. Then the action comes fast and furious as Jericho, Edge, Rey Mysterio, and other smaller guys are in there. Seemingly, all the big guys are saved for later and they do power moves to each other. Taker returns, Brock Lesnar comes in and displays his awesome power (he F5s Matt Hardy over the top rope).

My friend still has my copy, and I can't remember the extras off the top of my head. But one of them is the over-the-top-rope challenge match from RAW.

This DVD is also worth buying, plus it's usually at a good price.
