Hey all. quick question... how did the people like sarah polley and ving etc get into the mall at the beginning of the movie? if it was unlocked to begin with then why wasn't it filled with zombies (who obviously can run fast and open doors), or if they did break the glass or the locks, how did they keep the zombies from coming in after? really liked the movie, but just wondering.

I would guess that at the time, there weren't too many running around. At least one got in, though, and "turned" the janitor and that one security guard. It wasn't until nearly everyone was a zombie that they started "gathering".

This was brought up in the other Dawn thread, but I could see them shotgunning a back door open and then just just blocking the door from the inside.
