DVD Talk review of 'The Final Countdown (Widescreen Edition)'
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of The Final Countdown (Widescreen Edition) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=9839 and...
Does anyone who has bought a copy of this dvd (single disc edition)hear a very annoying high pitched ringing sound that is present whenever there is a helicopter in flight? My copy also sticks and replay scene at every chapter. I have to manully forward to next chapter.
Just wondering.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
My copy of the Limited Edition starts to freeze/garbage at the point were the helicopter is droping people off on the island...
I cleaned the disk and it seems to be working better.
My JVC works great, but it does have problems with any disk that is not perfectly clean.

I had two copies of the 2 disc LE that had brief pixelation problems at different points during the scene with the Japanese pilot.
I have a third copy now, and while I haven't watched the whole movie again, I did watch the entire Japanese pilot scene, and had no problems.
