New Tivo Upgrade?
Last night after I finished watching The Shield I went to post on here, and read everyone else's comments. When I turned around my Tivo was restarting out of nowhere and then it said it was downloading new software. I now notice that I haven't seen that black message on the bottom of the screen, but I am wondering what else was added in this new software. So far I don't see anything different. Does anyone have any information?

I'm assuming, but you mean 3.1.1c, correct?
Mostly, it's:
* making the nuisance "Acquiring program data..." message disappear
* fixing the way too early closed captioning
* new/better channel logos
* "Daily" calls are now scheduled weekly
Some report:
* increased speed, esp. with Now Playing List
And if you have an HDVR2, and it was renamed in your system info screen to HDVR3, then you can expect it to be back to the original name.
