Truly sad. :-( I loved him in the Agatha Christie movies.

I remember him mostly from Spartacus and Logan's Run.

Sad indeed.

I will always remember him as Nero from Quo Vadis.

I think I will spin Spartacus tonight as a tribute. He seemed to be a guy who was terribly underused in the later part of his life, what a tremendous character actor! RIP Pete!

His range as an actor knew no bounds .... whether it was the demented Nero, or a befuddled old man, or Hercule Poirot, he never failed to hit the mark.

And let's not forget his skills as an author - he wrote several plays that were presented in the West End and on Broadway, including the hilarious Romanoff and Juliet.

We'll miss you!

Death on the Nile and the rest of his poirot performances are what I will remember him for

During World War II, Private Peter Ustinov was batman to Lieutenant Colonel David Niven.

Sorry to see him go. He was the hightlight of the films I've seen him in; hilarious performances.

For you sci-fi buffs, he was the old coot in Logan's Run.

This is truly a sad day. He will be sorely missed.

Gotta love his cameo in the Great Muppet Adventure.

Ustinov: What are you doing here?
Oscar the Grouch: Just a small cameo.
Ustinov (to the camera): Me too.

This is one of those film star deaths that I think means something to me & will definitely have me watching this immensely talented man's work again.

Ustinov in Spartacus is one of the all-time greatest perfomances in film history IMO & one of my all-time favorite characters ever. Add his Oscar winning performance to the fact that he wrote a lot of his scenes. It's just one of those roles that embodies why one loves cinema. He was such a naturally funny man & truly brilliant & intelligent & witty.
