Pacino's People I Know: What's the deal?

Is this film going to get a wide release or direct to DVD anytime soon. I tried a search but didn't come up with anything. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks!

Pacino did not direct this film. I think you may win the prize for the most misleading thread title. The movie is coming out in limited release on April 25th.

Apparently "People I Know" is well regarded by Roger Ebert. He has included it in his Overlooked Film Festival this year. The festival is held each year in Champaign, Illinois. You can check out more information here: www.ebertfest.com

Well, if they can call it Diane Lane's Under the Tuscan Sun, we sure as hell can call it Pacino's People I Know

I thought this actually premiered on cable earlier this year? I'd like to see this and the long awaited Chinese Coffee.

Haven't even heard about this flick. What's it about?

And why would saying "Pacino's People I Know" mean he directed it? I mean, seriously...

When I saw the thread title, the first thing I thought was,

"These are the Daves I know, the Daves I know I know."

I saw this at the Hawaii International Film Festival. While I love Pacino, I didn't care for the film.

In any case, the DVD has been announced for 7/20.
