Who will get the last playoff spot in the West? Looks like one team (maybe two) with a winning record won't get in.

nuggets have fallen apart completely
blazers have some tough games ahead, but i think they are the best of these options

Yeah, you can't like the Nuggets recent collapse. Of course, none of the other options thrill me, and really, it's just who will get slaughtered by Sac/Minn/SA/LAL in 4 or who can start golfing 2 weeks early.

Seattle is coming together after a season full of injuries, but has the toughest remaining schedule and will be fortunate to beat N.O. and the Clippers.
Denver beats Seattle and Phoenix. Not nearly enough.
Utah beats N.O., Clippers, Phoenix. They get by Houston if they're lucky. Kirilenko is a stud and should contend for Defensive Player of the Year. Sloan misses out again on Coach of the Year. Completely unexpected success in both Utah and Memphis this year.
Portland 13-9 since trading Rasheed and the easiest remaining schedule = the most Eastern Conference opponents.

What is the Blazers' record against the Kings and Timberwolves this year? Hint: 3-1 against both.

I'd like the Nuggets to make it. Nothing like seeing Carmelo and Lebron both make the playoffs.

Sounds great and all, but they both would still beat the Blazers in 4.

Here's hoping it's the Blazers :) It's always great to see your team knock out El Scorcho's.

Though if a team's hot, you never know what will happen.
