I've got Ok State and UConn facing off in the final in my pool, so needless to say these are the two important games for me this weekend :) OSU has to win for me!! A Uconn upset ultimately wouldn't hurt me though, as the others up at the top with me all have them going too...a couple have them winning, so in that sense I guess Bama rolling on would even help a little....but i'd rather have the satisfaction of picking the right teams in the final...
so GO COWBOYS!!!
GO HUSKIES!!
SCREW BAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Around noon, I typed up a post about how boring today would be. We'd wait all day for the UConn game to start only to be disappointed after they built up a 20-point first half lead, at which point we'd wait another couple hours for a real game. Being overly superstitious and having UConn winning it all, I quickly deleted the post so as not to jinx them. And here I thought I might have been exagerating by saying "20 points."

Well I don't like the look of this at all. Eddie Sutton needs to pound it into his guys brains to stop trying to be all fancy with the dribble. if they'd just settle down they'd be up 6 instead of down. 18-0 off of turnovers is not the way to win a game....it's a great way to lose one though.

My heart was racing. It is a shame that they let a 9 point lead go in the game but OSU has a real strong team. I didn't expect St. Joe's to play this well against them.

Wow, what a game! We (the Cowboys) have had a different player step up each time out.
E. Washington - McFarlane
Memphis - Graham
Pitt - Allen
and now Lucas vs. St. Joe's.
We've got to have a lot of confidence going into the Final Four, having beat two of the best teams in the country in the span of three days -- and basically in their backyards as well.

I actually hope Livingston listens to his dad and goes straight for the pros and doesn't waste Coach K's time.
