I just watched CITIZEN KANE again and was (again) impressed with Dorothy Comingore's performance, so I searched for some of her other films and found . . .
THE HAIRY APE (1944)
A worker in a luxury liner's engine room obsesses over a beautiful, aloof passenger in this interpretation of the Eugene O’Neill play.
Directed by ALFRED SANTELL
Starring WILLIAM BENDIX, SUSAN HAYWARD, John Loder, Dorothy Comingore, Roman Bohnen, Alan Napier, Eddie Kane
Any good? Big fan of Eugene O'Neill but don't remember this one.
