I'm looking for some new underground music - rap or rock, doesn't matter.

I'm a fan of 'garage rock' (The Strokes, The Walkmen), oddball stuff (Radiohead, The Cooper Temple Clause), and good rap (no southern/Nelly type stuff, more like Atmosphere, Eminem, ect.)

Anyone hot on the underground scene right now?

The new Mínus cd Halldór Laxness sounds a bit like a hardcore version of the Strokes. As for oddball stuff how about Minus the Bear with their melodic jazz rock.

Are these the same guys from Europe somewhere? If it is, I have their CD "Jesus Christ Bobby" or something like that. I could never get into it.

Ya its the same guys. They're actually from Iceland. The new album is more accessible since they got rid of most of hardcore screams.
