Need suggestions for attaching speaker wire to baseboards around room.
I've got a lot of wire I need to run around the room (along the baseboards, over the doorway, et cetera), and I'm looking at options to secure it to the wood.
Obviously trying to avoid using thumbtacks, so...
Thanks for any suggestions and ideas!

I got some flat speaker wire from radio shack and installed it behind the crown moldin I put up Just make sure you get the molding that isn't solid so there is a little room to hide the wire.

I used the clips the cable guys use to secure cable to the basebord, you can pick them up at home depot for pretty cheap and they can accomodate about 3 strands of 14 gauage wire (maybe more, the stuff I have is pretty thickly shielded).

velcro just wrap it around the wires and cut a small piece against the baseboard, if you got carpet wrap the loop part on the wire as this will snug onto the carpet as well.

I was in the same boat awhile back trying to run wire for surrounds. I'm in an apartment, so couldn't do a proper job to hide them. What I did was get clips that nail into the wall. They come in white or black (I'm assuming you don't have black walls!) and hold the wires really well. You don't even notice it unless you're looking for it.
