Should be entertaining. I'm predicting Taylor to be the next middleweight champion of the world. I think he has the right stuff to take down Hopkins.

Kind of safe match-making here. Haven't Bunema and Barret lost their last bouts? But I hope both of them show up to fight.
While we're on boxing, whatever happened to Manny Pacquaio? His fight with Barerra seemed like it was years ago and as soon as that fight ended, I couldn't wait to see him again. Well, here I am, still waiting. Anybody have any info on what's next for him?

Interesting that you mention him. Manny Pacquiao is one of the top 10 pound for pound IMHO. But he isn't getting the recognition because nobody wants to fight him (ala Winky Wright). To other fighters, the pay isn't worth the risk I'm guessing. I was really hoping for a Pacquiao/Morales fight, but Morales just moved up in weight....one reason I'm thinking is to avoid Manny. :)

Awesome! I was expecting some minor tune-up, but instead he chose a megafight!
Thanks, Quake.

Yup. Solid performance! Best jab shooting I've seen in a good long while.
But unless I was imagining things..Isn't De La Hoya supposed to fight Hopkins in the fall? Lampley and crew just seemed to go on and on about Hopkins vs Taylor, but I thought that Hopkins/De La Hoya was already signed and ready to go.
Or are they just expecting Hopkins to destroy Oscar? -screwy-
What's the deal?

Well, last I saw, the fight was still on for September. De la Hoya and Hopkins have tune up fights this spring. There are so many names flying around right now, I'm not sure if Hopkins v. Taylor would happen any time soon.
