Anyone know anything about this? For those who don't know, you used to be able to bid on general admission concert tix for less than face value or for sold out shows.

I've been wondering also. I went to so many more shows last year, thanks to getaccess!
I'm thinking that if it does pick up again, it'll be closer to the summer.

They've relisted themselves as "getaccessevents" now. Search by that username and you'll find a bunch of shows...

I got two 311 tickets last summer for $14 when it would normally have cost $70 for two. It was great! I never did get the email at the end of 4 months stating my membership was about to end, never heard from them at all.

Thank you very much Alanstar - that's what I was looking for. I've noticed that the ticket prices are a little bit higher, compared to last year. Also there aren't as many "buy it now's" either.
I still plan on taking advantage if it's worth while!

Yea, but George Carlin is popular, and a good act. Not exactly something that these guys specialize in. Get Access are the guys who help boost ticket sales in dying acts. I bought Lolapalooza tickets a couple years ago, and was very satisfied with how everything worked out. Tickets were so cheap that we just saw J5, went to the Tony Hawk tent, and then left.
As for them and eBay... This is why I despise eBay. No matter how big of a company you are, a few jerk-off know-nothing buyers can get you kicked off. And eBay has absolutely no loyalty towards people that are spending $30k per month just in their fees. Those same know-nothing customers will take time to contact all of your buyers, and all kinds of shit. It's just damn-near impossible to run a legit retail business on there. But it gets undeniable exposure.
