Question about the original Buffy for Xbox
The original Buffy for Xbox seems to have developed a cult following on this board. I've never played it and it's becoming hard to find, but with all of the positive posts/threads I've seen about it here, I'm considering giving taking a plunge on a used copy of the game (the only kind I can find).
Can you guys describe the game a bit more and tell me what makes it so good?
BTW, I've never seen the show and have absolutely no interest in it. Does that matter?

actually, i never watched the show but i like the game. enough that i just picked up part 2 (chaos bleeds).
you play a 3rd person role, jumping around, fighting baddies, slight puzzle solving, some crossbow sniping, exploring, type of stuff.
i got mine for $10... for that kind of money, i give it a 9 out of 10.

Side-kicking vampires through plate glass windows and watching them fall on flaming barrels, exploding into dust, totally makes the game for me.
It's just a slick beat-em-up with lots of cool moments (throwing vamps through windows into the daylight...stuff like that.)

The fighting system jsut flows wonderfully. All sorts of different moves and "finishers", and the one liners aren't half bad either .

It's an awesome game, it's why I got an XBOX.. It has some really tough parts in it.
There are some codes to unlock some pretty cool features too.
