Ben Jelen==check him out!

Hey all,

I did this with Howie Day a while back and now I'm doing it with Ben Jelen as well. I first heard about him on AOL's front page where they focused on him as an artist of the month or something. I heard his first single and thought it was great. His new album comes out next week and through the magic of the internet I've heard the whole thing. You can catch a sneak peek of him at his website...and i know they used to have 5 songs from the album streaming. In any case, I'm not affiliated with him or his record company (Madonna's btw) but just wanted to see what other people thought of his sound. I think it's great and can't take it out of my CD player right now.

i'm listening to the album right now, sounds kind of like your typical pop fare, except that it's done very very well.

nice album

Saw him live and in concert last night. he played most of the current album except for two songs I believe. This kid is EXCELLENT live. He really rocks his piano stool in a way that I think Tori Amos would appreciate it. And his voice is just as strong in person as on the record which is surprising. He also plays the guitar, piano and fiddle onstage. Nice kid.

Although the album has been pushed back to April 13th, it's still highly recommended. Dunno how some of you got it early but I've been listening to the MP3's I've downloaded until I can buy the real thing. Can't get it out of my CD player.
