World Poker Tour - France - 3/24/04

How sweet was it that that Cretian outdrew pocket Aces on the river on one of the late hands in the match?

That Cretian had to be so annoying to French onlookers during the match.

“Get security.”

If he’s from Crete, does that make him a cretin?

I try to be tolerant of other players as much as possible, but I’ve always thought it rude to gloat about catching a card on the river.

Speaking of rudeness, a short piece on table manners. Nice. And they used Phil as the poster boy for sore losers. ‘Bout peed myself laughing.

The game was almost boring until the last half hour or so. But I was totally fascinated with the way those Frenchies deal the cards. It was almost enough to take my mind off Sexton’s inane banter.

And, is it my imagination, or is Shana looking even hotter these days?

It's your imagination. Her hotness peaked at maximum hotness long ago. Granted, some may see it as an asymptotic relationship, but I would suggest the difference is negligible.

Speaking of hot, one of those dealers ...

Yeah, the first one.

Got no dealers like that at the Bike, or else I would have a problem! Or two.

It seemed to be a really chatty table this time around, with all the guys making comments to each other (especially the blonde American?).

Favorite exchanges of the night:

"Diamonds are forever? Crete is forever!"
"Uh-oh, he's rambling again"

Me neither. I was just about ready to reach through the TV and smack his dumb ass. I can understand getting excited and blurting out something like "Crete forever" once, but don't go on saying it EVERY time you get lucky. Stupid bastard.

granted, I'm still playing fake money tables and am pretty bad, but when I end up winning due to a card on the turn or the river I call it what it is. Luck
