Will 8 Simple Rules be Cancelled at the end of this Season ?
I hope not, i think it has rebounded quite well from John Ritter's death
I couldn't imagine not having my Kaley Cuoco fix

Yes this show has been a pleasant surprise with James Garner & especially David Spade. Their characters give the writers so much more to work with.
I'm sure it's going to be renewed, though the ratings have been down the last 2 months to around 8 million viewers. But you're right, ABC doesn't have a lot of hits and this one has consistant viewership.

I don't think it will be canceled, but I don't know. Ratings seem to be good, the show is surprisingly funny whenever I get around to watching it, and any show with James Garner on it is fine by me.

Let me also say that I hop not. I still enjoy the show. Though I
still wonder what it would've been like if Ritter didn't pass away.
BTW, did anyone catch the week before last's episode:
Episode 16: "Mall in the Family"
After Kerry is promoted to assistant manager at a fast food restaurant in the mall, Jim is hired to handle the register. But when she witnesses his disdain for the customers, Kerry is faced with the dilemma of having to fire her grandfather. Meanwhile C.J. — who has been employed as a mall cop — busts Bridget for sneaking into a movie without paying, and Cate catches Rory selling worthless family items on the internet under false pretenses.
How was it? Unfortunately, I made a mistake and taped NBC
instead. I was certainly surprised when I saw Whoopi Goldberg.
I hope the rerun this ep in the summer.
