"I Love the 90s" coming...seriously

Aside from the fact that a bare page has already been set-up at VH1.com, a little blip at the end of an article about the new VH1 programming says:

Predictably, VH1 starts "I Love the '90s" in a few weeks.
Link to story

It probably will be entertaining, but this can you say, "overboard"? This whole thing will be done to death before the end of the year.

I really wanted this, but I wished they had done it before E had done their 90s special.

Mmmm...I'll probably end up watching it, but methinks this is a decade early. The pro I guess would be that stuff is "fresher" in peoples' heads.

Wow, that was quick. I'm sure I'll watch it, though. Whenever I'm flipping through channels and see I Love the 70s or 80s on, I always watch.

Nothing wrong with this. I love these shows on VH1, and since the 90s are over, its all good.

Well, at least I'll know all the stuff from start to finish (born 1981). Still, I wish they'd waited a couple of years, just so stuff would be funnier. I mean, 1999 really isn't all that different from 2004, is it?

Sounds good. I wasn't alive in the 1990's so it will be interesting to see how times were back in those days.

Thank God.

Mo Rocca, Hal Sparks, and Michael Ian Black need the work.

You would think they would tackle the 60s first.

I like the series, but this one might be pushing it. 1990 through maybe 95 or 96 will be neat, but do I really need a recap of 99? Oh well, you knew it was inevitable.

In all honesty, I think they should do an "I Love the '70s Grooves Back" or some silly shit like that before they hit up the '90s.

God, I can just see what they do for 1999...

Hal Sparks: "Hey, you guys ever see that movie The Sixth Sense?"
Michael Ian Black: "My penis sees dead people."
Annoying Fat Black Lady Who Annoyed The Living Hell Out of Me: "Oh my god! The Sixth Sense seriously scared the shit out of me! Especially with that little freaky white boy played by Haley who sees dead people! Scared me to death!"

Yeah. Not a good idea... especially coming on the air shortly after E!'s 101 Reasons Why the '90s Ruled (oh God did that suck).

That's strange cause I could have sworn you were at the very least 5 years old.

No, it'll be I Love The '30s as Barenaked Ladies predicted.

I thought the E specials for the 90s were not that good at all.

They had some of the worst things on the list. They could have done better. If the 90s VH1 specials are anything like the 70s and 80s ones, then I will be watching.

Well, to be fair, it doesn't say "1990s". Maybe they are just going back a bit further and covering the 1890s. It was a very exciting decade, you know.

As much as the 70s and 80s.
