TIVO and HDTV
Is there anyway to use a TIVO and a Comcast HD box by splitting the cable between two inputs on my TV? I currently have my cable working but there is no sound when switching to the TIVO(Video is there). Does anyone use this setup?

I could be wrong but I think the cable needs to be split at the wall with one going to the cable box and the other going to the Tivo box. This will only get you Tivo for the non digital channels of course and then you'll need to feed each box to two inputs on the TV.

You could get a second box and split the cable at the wall and just make it impossible for your remote to change the channel of that box. The Tivo would go into one input and the HD cable feed would go into another input. since you control the channel changing by using the Tivo remote you do not need to use the cable remote on the second cable box.
This way Tivo could record whenever it wants to record and you could use the HD cable box to watch the HD programming at the same time.
