DVD Talk review of 'Poirot - Collector's Set 8'
I read Holly E. Ordway's DVD review of Poirot - Collector's Set 8 at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=9965 and...
Aargh! Yet another review that assumes that since it's of a television series made in England, it must be made by the BBC. Poirot was a London Weekend Television production. LWT was part of Britain's ITV network, which is commercial television and had nothing to do with the BBC. (LWT no longer exists, it's now part of Granada Media, who own the archives of many commercial UK broadcasters.)
Still, both amazon and deepdiscountdvd make the same error repeatedly on their websites.
