My '80's Glam Rock Moment...

This morning I was fliiping through channels on the Satt TV at work and RATT'S song "BODY TALK" was playing on the POWER ROCK Music Channel.

Man!! This song take me back(to '86) ! What a kick ass song

Then one song later KISS' "I LOVE IT LOUD"('82) came up. Too cool!

I'm telling you, local radio stations could learn a lot from these Satt. music stations in terms of programming.

I'm a big fan of VH1Classics "Metal Mania" show. They show tons of classic '80s videos from big and not-so big bands... and fortunately they don't only show the biggest hits (i.e. you don't always get Round and Round if they play Ratt).

I've been less impressed with Time Warner's digital music selections. The don't seem to ever surprise me with something I wouldn't expect.

I like VH1 Classic Metal Mania show too, just this week that showed Faster Pussycat and Kix videos for songs I didn't even know they made videos for. Like you said, I like how they don't play the hits but play the rare songs you haven't heard for a long time.

Metal Mania is much better than the new Headbangers Ball.

This morning 3/26:

King's X "Goldilox" then Iron Maiden's "Women in Uniform". I haven't those in years.

I would give the person programming this channel oral sex.

We have 2 stations that play classic rock yet include some Ratt, Motley, and others. Of course, they also play Bon Jovi, poison and Winger.
