What was the name of those things in Star Wars?

The things on the outside of the M. Falcon in ESB?

They had to go out of the ship inside the worm thing to remove them when they were hiding.

Mynocks

Leathery black flying creatures, they are an energy-feeding, silicon-based parasite that evolved in the vacuum of space and that feeds on energy. Typically travelling in packs, they attach themselves with suction organs to passing starships and can cause damage if not spotted quickly.

Mynocks are nourished by stellar radiation and absorb silicon and other minerals from asteroids and other space debris. When they absorb enough, they reproduce by dividing in two.

Mynocks have migrated throughout the galaxy as unwanted passengers aboard starships.

We see these creatures in Empire Strikes Back when the team fly into an asteroid field to avoid Imperial attacks. The Millennium Falcon flies into one of the asteroids and later discover they are in the stomach of a Space Slug as they see the creatures flying around and fear they may chew the cables on their ship.
