True, but it's impossible to get to ask a question. I've been buzzing in for 2 hrs...the format stinks. What they should do is have everyone buzz in just once, then go through the entire lineup of people who buzzed in. It's like playing Millionaire with 200 contestants, fat chance you'll get to beat the other guys' buzzers.

Lots of good news but THIS is the BEST! I knew it's been the works for some time but it's always nice to hear it'll finally be this year.

Yeah that is true. Also for some reason they refuse to allow me to ask a question. I've been on their list twice and both times they've skipped me.

Great news about the King Kong restoration + Mighty Joe Young will be released.

Good news about the 7 Hitchcocks coming.

They dodged the question about the Batman TV show. Obviously something's going on there.

Excited about the Val Lewton box set in 2005

Awesome news that the 50s Superman is being worked on even if it is not imminent due to elements issues.

Lots of good stuff coming out of this chat...

By any chance, have they offered any news concerning Cagney films on DVD, or mentioned the possibility of a Maltese Falcon SE?

In addition, A LOT of time is being wasted going through the buzzing for each round. More questions could be asked if they just went through an entire list of people just once.

for Wonder Woman, too. But if they release it season-by-season, I'll just get the first one. I didn't care when they updated it to the 1970s period (I think this change took place when the show shifted from ABC to CBS?).

We get Wonder Woman - but no Batman? Also no more news on Batman: The Animated series or the Batman: Se's? Why oh why?

Nevermind, after further searching .

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Toon Zone's Steel recently caught up with a Warner Home Video representative at the most recent Home Theater Forum chat. When questioned about box sets regarding the "DC Animated Universe" properties, the representative responded that, "there will be season boxed sets of both Batman: The Animated Series and Superman: The Animated Series. Teen Titans is scheduled as well." You can bet Justice League will get proper treatment, too. Look for further updates regarding this information at Toon Zone News.
If this is indeed true, then thank God. I'd love for all the series, including Teen Titans to finally be released in season box sets.

Anyone who attended the chat know anything about this announcement?

Cagney releases are coming although no specific details.

Maltese Falcon is one of those "future" titles with nothing soon.

They did say that the next "Warners Legends" box would have a ganster theme. I'm guessing that "Angels with Dirty Faces" will be part of this. Unfortuanately this is only a guess since the contents weren't revealed.
