It seems sad to me though. The end of an era in a lot of ways.

Just before the first auction, I was lucky enough to go to Christies in Beverly Hills to view the guitars in person. All were out, on a stand, except for "Brownie", which was in a glass case with it's case. The catalog that Christies put out covering the auction was great.

Strange that the article mentioned that "Blackie" was being sold because I could swear it went at the first auction... but I could be wrong.

I thought I had heard that he either withdrew or bought back something from the first auction.

Maybe it was Blackie.

nazz...you know, you might be right about that. Good call.

I'd be curious how much the guitars will be going for this time. I think the "cheapest" one last time was around $25,000.

Also last time he gave a concert, not only to raise money and awareness for his Crossroads Centre but also to play some of the guitars for one last time.
