"cheap" and "Monster Cables" don't belong in the same sentence. :D

Is there a reason you want Monster? There are plenty of other brands out there.

Get some AR (Acoustic Research) cables. Every bit as good as Monster cables............only, a whole lot cheaper! Can get them at Best Buy........ :)

Monster doesn't post it's specs of it's cables at all, so 'good quality cables' could be unfounded. I say just get some nice AR cables or from BlueJeans (http://www.bluejeanscables.com). If you can get an employee of CC or BB to hook you up though, you get a substantial discount (something like 60% off).

Authorized Monster dealers can't discount the product, so if you want a better price you'll have to go to places like ebay for used or grey market Monster product.

I understand that blue jean cables are very good quality and many people like them. But, they are also in the Monster price range, and are NOT anywhere near 'cheap.' (e.g. 6-foot a/v composite or component cables for $40-$45.)
I'd go with AR, or even check out cablesamerica.com for the Velocity brand. ($17 for 6-ft component, 75-ohm OFC, mylar & braided-copper shield, foam dielectric, gold-plated connectors...) I thoink these used to be their Python brand (or at least they are similar), which work very well,no complaints at all.

Unless the employees buy it for themselves, in which case you do get the discount.

Best way to go if you have the hookup. The CC discount is crap now, but you can still get accomodation for 60% off retail.

If you really want Monster or similar cable you might check your local audio/video retailer. I know that in my area the local shop discounts cables that they have used in the store by 50%. I have picked up some good deals in the past.
Good luck.

I use almost all AR (Acoustic Research) cables for my component video on the TV and wires for my HT and couldn't be happier. Price is much better than Monsters, too.

Thank you very much Steebo
I spent a year planning and designing it. My family and friends enjoy it alot! Not too far off topic, I have Monster cable in my theater. The inwall cable was 14/2 Monster (350 feet) along with some older inter connects I am sure. I also have cable from Transparent, Better Cables, Kimber Kable, AR, Audio Research and some I am sure I have forgotten ;)

Very nice indeed. I just bought my first projector, but I live in a studio so I make due with what I got. Later this summer I'm moving into a house with a basement though!
On topic hehe, I bought Acoustic Research cables for my system after deciding I couldn't afford to invest the money into making my own cables at the moment. I think they were a great bargain. From everything I've read and seen they match Monster in quality, but cost a whole hell of a lot cheaper. I did my whole system for 100 bucks from Best buy, which includes:
1 15ft sub cable
1 6ft Coax cable
1 12 foot Component Cable
3 3ft stereo cables for SACD
I think that was it. Anyway, I think they are nice, and inexpensive hehe.
