David Gemmell Books

hi a friend recommended me to read some of david gemmell's books after reading and watching LOTR's

the books he recommended are:

Book 1: Legend
Book 6: First Chronicles of Dross the Legend
Book 7: The Legend of Deathwalker

if anyone's read any of these books can i get a review of em pls :)

David Gemmell is probably my favorite author. I was waiting in an airport many moons ago and having read all my books I picked up one called "Against the Horde" by Gemmel (This was later retitled Legend, same book) and loved it. Since then I have read all of his books and enjoyed them all. I would strongly recommend any books in his Drenai series (the above 3 are all in that series).

Have read all the Drenai tales up to date and they are very satisfying and very fast reads. Here is the reading order I was given to read them in....

Legend
The King Beyond the Gate
Waylander
Quest for Lost Heroes
Waylander II: In the Realm of the Wolf
The First Chronicles of Druss the Legend
The Legend of Deathwalker
Winter Warriors
Hero in the Shadows

Start with Legend and I promise you, you will blast thru the rest.

I just finished ECHOES OF A GREAT SONG, a one booker by Gemmell. Awesome

Morning Star and Quest for Lost Heroes were my two favorites.
